After two days of testing and preparation, the Dakar Rally cannot start soon enough for Michel Kremer and Thomas de Bois. After last year’s early exit, they are keen to reach the finish. The car feels good, the tests went smoothly and their own preparations are also done.
It will be the second Dakar participation for Michel Kremer, but after only 75 kilometers last year it looks more like the first. “So many people have come up to us in recent days to wish us good luck, especially after last year’s bad luck. So we want to finish the rally without anything crazy, at our leisure. We try to profit from other people’s mistakes. But finishing is the most important goal for us.”
The Century CR6 is completely ready for the rally. “The car feels good, we tested well and had no problems. Thomas was also able to test with the tablet and everything works. The team is now busy preparing the car for tomorrow’s prologue and then it will finally really start. We are excited!”
The prologue is scheduled for Friday morning, a short stage of 28 kilometers. The first real stage is on the program on Saturday.
